A Boutique & Historical Hotel in Beyoglu
The six-storey building in Balo Street, Beyoglu was built in 1893 by the renowned Greek master architect of westernizing Istanbul, Petros Adamandidis.
He was also known as Headworker Petraki and his other known works apart from his own house on Prince’s Islands are Said Halim Pasha Mansion in Yenikoy, Izzeddin Efendi Mansion in Camlica, an apartment building in Kuledibi and his own apartment in Galatasaray. Besides buildings he made in a neoclassical style, he also restored The Spice Bazaar after it was damaged by the big earthquake in 1894.
Our hotel was built to be used as a family residence by Adamandidis Family and the family lived here till the early 2000s and it was also called ‘The Petraki Apartment’. At the beginning of this decade, the apartment was restored and started to serve as a hotel. While you are feeling like a character in history, you will be feeling at home with our welcoming team.
